Peanut Tofu
Flavor-packed baked tofu cubes coated in a sticky savory peanut sauce — so good even tofu haters will love it.

Ingredients
Tofu

350 g extra firm tofu, drained, pressed, cut into 1-inch cubes -
2 tb soy sauce -
1 tsp sesame oil -
32 g cornstarch
Peanut Sauce
-
3 tb natural peanut butter -
1 tb rice vinegar -
2 tb soy sauce -
1 tb agave or maple syrup -
2 tsp sesame oil -
2 tsp Sriracha (optional) -
1 clove garlic, minced -
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced -
37 g roasted salted peanuts, chopped
To Serve
- Cilantro, chopped
- Cooked rice (optional)
Instructions
- Press tofu for 15–30 minutes to remove excess water, then cut into 1-inch cubes.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix all peanut sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Toss tofu with soy sauce and sesame oil, then sprinkle over cornstarch and toss to coat.
- Spread tofu on the baking sheet and bake for 12–18 minutes until golden.
- Toss baked tofu with half the peanut sauce, return to the sheet, and bake for another 2–6 minutes .
- Serve hot over rice, drizzle with remaining sauce, and garnish with peanuts and cilantro.
